Frequently Asked Questions

Whenever possible we quote our jobs so that you know what you will be paying. If certain circumstances prevent us from being able to provide an accurate quote (many small tasks, specialty projects, add-ons etc) then we will provide an estimate using our hourly rate of $75/hr plus materials.

The Mighty Painters crew are worksafeBC covered and carry 2 million in liability insurance.

Our crews work Monday though Friday 7:30 to 4:00, but this can be adjusted to suite our clients needs.

Mighty Painters crew members are full time and well trained. New employees are carefully apprenticed and supervised.

This will depend on what we are painting, but on average, a full interior re-paint can take 3-5 days. For an exterior, about 3-5 working days can be expected

Depending on the project, some items or surfaces will need to be masked off with plastic, floors/countertops covered etc. We ask that small personal or fragile items be put away somewhere safe by our clients prior to our arrival, but we can help with moving larger items around as needed.

Our main supplier is Cloverdale Paint, and you can find your nearest location and visit the store to select colors, or take a look at their website. With that said, most paint suppliers have each others colors all matched into their own products, and if they don’t - we can simply take a sample that you have picked up from almost anywhere and have it color matched. We can also use any paint requested, but additional charges may apply.

We do not currently have a certified interior designer on staff, but we can offer basic assistance with colors. For more complex ideas, we would recommend finding an interior designer to help you with your choices. We find that for most people and circumstances, color is a very personal choice, and as long as you like it and stay within certain parameters (neutrals etc) - it will look great!
